H22 EF9 Build
well i picked up this 90 roller for $75 just needed a frontend.... (new one on its way)...Progress as of so far
motor thoughts..... and plans
(already to be installed)
F22a1 block
H22a head
Act 6 puck
Fidanza flywheel
50 wet shot NX Kit
(parts yet to gather)
H22 LSD trans or F22 trans to go LSD.... still debating
Axles, still need more mock up to decide length... cus iam looking at moving the motor forward for weight transfer....
going boosted with 8lbs.... still deciding on size turbo... i already have a 14b lying around but we shall see
already started a week ago on gutting the interior..... dash is gone as well as all the sound material gone....
well the radiator support was pretty mangled when i got the car, looks as if someone hit something and just pulled it out by hand and the spot welds were busted out.....
but i think the plan is to just take some scrap metal to make a support for the radiator and also for the intercooler to mount into place....
(forgot to get a true before pic)
also picked up a set of 8.5x24x15 M&H ET Drags on a set of Rota's....$400 later ....here is a above shot to tell the width difference..... and also mounted on the car to see how much they stick out
we had some H22 mounts lying around for a EG, so with some slight modifcations to the subframe we managed to make her fit...... mounts arent pretty but still need to do some clean up and add more durablity to them..... threw on a header to test some ground clearence, so far working out pretty good..... enough me talking... time for some pics

Re: H22 EF9 Build
The car has tons of potential, it should be sick if it pans out.

Re: H22 EF9 Build
Nice! I've been wanting to build an EF sedan with a built H22 along with the H2B conversion and a S4C tranny with an LSD.

honestly i have several F series trannies lying around, and well swapping trans on this car will be a breeze.... so if i go to hit a 1/4 mile ill slap a F in.... but if ill be on my home track which is only a 1/8th ill slap in the JDM H that i used for mock up...... so iam set very several variables...
