Confused what class you should be in? New to the sport and don't know where to start? Post your make, model, year and complete list of mods to help class your car for the upcoming SOLO2 season.

The Basics:

There are 4 main categories your car can fall into. Stock, Street Prepared, Prepared, and Modified. The Street Touring classes (STS, STS2, STX, STU) fall in between Stock and Street Prepared, while the Street Modified classes (SM, SM2) fall somewhere between Street Prepared and Prepared.
Stock

This class includes mass produced vehicles able to be used for normal street driving. Stock Category cars must compete in their showroom configuration with only minor modifications allowed. Some of the basic mods allowed include: any DOT legal tire that fits on the OEM size rim, up to double adjustable shocks, cat back exhaust, and front (only) sway bar. Please refer to the Solo Rules for details on the allowable modifications.

Some of the cars commonly found in Stock classes:

* SS: C5 Vette, 93+ turbo RX7, 911 turbo

No internal engine modifications are allowed, but minor changes to the bodywork to accommodate larger wheels and tires are permitted. Please refer to the Solo Rules for details on the allowable modifications.
