THIS IS FOR KEEPING WATER OUT OF YOUR TRUNK!!! Since there is no Tail Light sealing article on here that goes into a lot of detail and no pictures. I decided since I had to do mine, I would make one. Enjoy!

Tools Needed-
8 mm Wrenches
Waterproof Sealant
Hair Dryer (*Optional*)

First-
Pop out the little screws to open this area.

Here is the location of the first 3 bolts, and you might want to unplug the lights while your down there.

Third
Here are the 3 "hidden bolts, this is where the open end wrench comes in hand. Take your time though, you don't want to drop them. Trust me.

Fourth
Your taillight should come right out when you pull, if its stuck, you can just gently nudge the bolts with a rubber mallet to loosen them. Mind you I just washed my car, but this is how much water came out when I pulled the tails out.

This is what the taillight gasket should look like, it may be stuck to the taillight, but thats okay because it looks exactly the same from the other side.

Fifth
I figured since My tails were out anyways, I might as well get all the moisture out of them while I can.

Sixth
All I did was unplug all of the bulbs, turn the dryer on hot and high, and put it on the hole to evaporate the water.

Seventh
Now since the current gasket was wet, I went ahead and dried it since I had the opportunity.

Eighth
Heres the part where you re-seal the gasket, all you have to do is just follow the line that was left on it from the lights and you should be good.

Ninth
Stick the tail-light back in, bolt the nuts back down again, and plug the lights back in.

Tenth
Let the new sealant set, put the plastic pins that you removed when you started back in and your set!

this is ballin, but instead of just repairing the leaks, you could get a new gasket all together.
in substitution for the oem gasket, you can go to a local hobby store, buy some of that "funny foam" stuff and cut it out.
been proven to work just as good as the brand new oem gasket, and about 3x cheaper.
