Motorsport Park Hastings (MPH).

Here's a 2008 schedule for MPH, if you have any HPDE experience you can attend the open track days. I've contacted George Anderson (one of the owners) to what days the driving schools will be held also. From what I remember Natha Waldbaum (T1 ZO6) is one of the instructers out at MPH but also does alot out at MAM and HPT, she's a great instructor!

haha...you'll be in SM for sure though. Hastings last year was insane, it was around a 80-90 second course.

should we start the list for the caravan to drive down there

hmmm nothing towards early to mid may..... id like to attend a Scca event.....

just out of curiousity what are the rules and specs to have a car eligable for such a track race....

There are also SCCA club races at Midamerica Motorplex. To race there you do have to have an SCCA competition license and a legal car. You can find all the rule at www.scca.com then look under the "club racing" tab on the top. My suggestion would be to come down and check out what goes on at the track before you start building anything.

You can also get very involved in club racing without having a car. We are looking for people to become Race Officials. (the people who are out on the corners working the flags, radios, and respond to incidents) There is no better place to observe great racing other than behind the wheel.

If you want to drive your street car at SCCA events then you should look at the AutoX/Solo events. Nebraska Region puts on about a dozen events a year between Omaha/CouncilBluffs/Lincoln/Hastings.

ya i think Scca events would be right up my ally....

so now i need to wait and see what your guys' scedual pops up for the Scca autox events and ill do my best to attend one
